Terms of Service
Last updated: May 6, 2026
These Terms govern your use of YET. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Contact us at info@yet.social.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use YET. You are responsible for complying with local laws and for keeping your account secure.
Accounts and Usernames
You must provide accurate account information and choose a username that does not impersonate another person, infringe rights, or mislead the community. We may remove or restrict usernames that violate these Terms.
Events and Offline Safety
YET helps users discover and share events, but we do not control events created by users. Use judgment before attending events, meeting people, or sharing location information. Event creators are responsible for the accuracy, safety, legality, and permissions related to their events.
User Content
You keep ownership of content you post, including events, comments, photos, profile information, and messages. You grant YET a limited license to host, display, process, and share that content as needed to operate the app.
Rules of Conduct
- Do not harass, threaten, abuse, or impersonate others.
- Do not post illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, violent, or deceptive content.
- Do not spam, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with YET systems.
- Do not create events that are fraudulent, unsafe, or violate third-party rights.
Account Suspension and Deletion
We may suspend or remove accounts, content, or events that violate these Terms or create risk for users, YET, or others. You can sign out or request account deletion through the app or by contacting us.
Apple Terms
If you download YET from the App Store, Apple may require that your use also follows Apple's applicable terms, including the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Disclaimers
YET is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that events are accurate, safe, available, or suitable for you. To the maximum extent allowed by law, YET is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use of YET after updates means you accept the new Terms.
